created for fun, I had some extra paint left over from a previous project and decided to whip something up that belonged in the nature. So I grabed my florida audubon and flipped the pages to this cute yellow bird.

Our first assignment in Illustration II this semester was to illustrate a single word, and to do it in a way so that it wasn't blatant nor achingly subtle. The word crocodiles kept cycling through my head- not as the word to illustrate, but as the subject matter- and so I chose "awkward" as my word and came up with the idea of a crocodile businessman bring home a wildebeest friend from work only to find his wife preparing exactly that for dinner. Heh. Awkward.
